I live in Lincoln Maine. The closest Home Depot is an hour away. I’ve got the threaded rod. I’m just gonna have to make some thing for the end. which I can do. Just be easier and a lot nicer to just screw on a yoke on both ends.
Yes, mine in is in the highest hole on the pedal. My set up looks just like his except mines mounted with the caliper arm on the top.

I have adjusted it every which way to Sunday. I will try scuffing up the rotor and try with a metal rod. If I can get it set up to avoid flexing because I am going to have to put some Bends in it.

And yeah it’s new and a it is quite shinny and smooth. I tried scuffing it up with a piece of sandpaper, but I didn’t try real hard.
what’s the best way to scuff it up? I feel like by hand and a piece of sandpaper. It’ll take forever.
