    Stuck Pillow Block Bearing

Was fitting new Sprocket hub. Axle bearing is stuck on axle. Any tips for removal? I removed the set screws and tried torching, liberal amounts of penetrating oil, WD-40, CV axlepuller, sledge hammer and cold chisel. Any other ideas? I about to setup a press.

What is a good electric motor?

If you don't have anything yet, you can buy old razor mx550 kids bikes of FB Marketplace and put them into small carts. That way you buy a working system, and don't have to cobble parts what do you mean by What RPMS are good?

110cc Single Tao Motor with 3 speed trans. What axle-sprocket tooth count should I run?

Two Questions: 1) Is the right angle turn in the bung important? Or can I just flow the fuel straight down? 2) How did you find the bearings for so cheap? I'm looking at replacing one of mine (it stuck, but works with heat and WD-40) but cheapest I could find was this: SKF - 1-3/16" ID x 2.4409"...

I have a drill press and taps. Just drill a hole in the bottom and tap/screw a barbed nub in, then replace the original spray head with a vented cap?

110cc Single Tao Motor with 3 speed trans. What axle-sprocket tooth count should I run?

Measured, wheel in total is 8 inches in diameter. I apologise, I don't know where I pulled 6 inches from (certainly wasn't out of my pants). I mounted the engine with a temporary gas tank (cup+tape) and used a 48 tooth pitbike sprocket and that seemed to work fine. Next up: Can yall please...

Pics of where the missing assembly attaches would help greatly in providing clues as to the shape of the assembly. YOU did that, based off of you being able to tell which of the four EZcomeEZgo posted would be most likely to fit. Just because you cant figure heads or tails doesn't mean someone...

    Why don't EV's have transmissions?

Doesn't an electric engine's torque and power drop off in higher RPM range? If it does, would it make a difference in efficiency to keep the electric motor at 1000rpm and gear up?

    Why don't EV's have transmissions?

Found this statement on an old car and driver article: "Getting a two-speed transmission to work reliably on a powerful electric car is no small feat, as Tesla has found out the hard way." Maybe the instant torque is a shock load to gears?

    Why don't EV's have transmissions?

I thought part of the sales gimmick is that electric is more efficient? I don't know much about selling cars, but if you have 200 mpg equivalent, I feel like that would sell to Prius owners, no?

Original were 18" tires, now they are 6" OD slicks, so I think I'll go with a 30 tooth. Any ideas on where best to get it? I mainly use Mcmaster-Carr for hardware.

    Why don't EV's have transmissions?

Its not needed if you run a big motor on a big car. I'm asking if a FWD single, small electric motor with gears could make up the difference of the torque of a much larger motor, the advantage being you can run it on less amperage. "Can you make a more efficient EV by using a gearbox?"

    supercharger

The engine would still take in the same volume of air, just a higher density of air, no? I looked into it online and that's what an old guy (Banks Power on facebook) is saying, that a supercharger increases density not volume and therefore doesn't increase Volumetric Efficiency.
