To all the Chevy fans, Happy 427 Day! First brought out in 1963 (the fabled mystery motor) and had a successful run until 1969. In 1970 the 454 took its place. Sorry no pictures, too technically challenged. Get over it Hack!

Denny, pretty darn good eye for calling that out as a small block. It might measure out to 427 cubic inches, but it's not the REAL DEAL. It's not the one that made all the noise ( and horsepower ) back in the day. Down right proud of you.

The LS7 was a 454! It was slated to be used in the corvette but GM changed their minds at the last minute.

That was a fun car. The 505 hp rating was typically low. It put 480 down on a chassis dyno.
