Sparking chain

What in the world I have this pit bike the wiring all chopped up but it works and when it’s start and I hit the gas the chain sparkes which sounds really weird and is I need help

The chain sparks? There's only 2 things that come to mind... the chain is grinding against something and what you see is metal flaking off not actual sparks... or you have a hot wire clicking off the chain which would be naturally grounded as a chassis component indirectly connected to the engine block.

I would assume the second one the wiring all messed up but it works so cant complain but im pretty sure no wires are touching it
