I never owned a Doodlebug, but picked up a Monster Moto a while back. Very similar setup.

Any plans for it other then a motor?

Different tires might repaint but the blue is in decent shape. gonna grab a 224 probably just a stage 1. Or might grab engine off my ct200 and throw on it.
This 224 dont need a stage 1.

Right outta the box, it's a nasty lil engine.

I put a pvl flywheel, .675" bored SA carb, Dover Power performance coil, and short header with muffler on it.

It surely don't act like a stock outta the box engine.

All we need now is videos in landscape format for that wide view, theater style experience. :stir:

What's the lowest it will idle minus the governor and with the cam it comes with?
Stock outta the box, it would idle 1600 rpm.

It's very ez to start, even w/o gov in stock form.

I was surprised with the low end grunt it has.

It's got a lil more then most people want or need.

I've moved the timing up to 29* and installed a .036" main jet, it smooth the idle, a lil.

That lil stock cam has got some pop to it.
