How to Basic Wire almost anything

So I figurefigured I would make this to help some people out who can't wire things. And provide pictures.
Things needed: switch with at least 4 prongs, solenoid, starter, battery, ground, motor.
A lawn mower key start has 5 prongs and are labeled
Each one has a letter
G ground
S solenoid
L lights
M magneto (thingy that makes spark I think)
B battery (this one needs power so directly to battery)

I guess that was it... M is for the thingy that makes the spark, he thinks.

Very informative. I'll go apply for my Journeyman's card now.

I don't mean to be rude, but if you're just learning this stuff by trial and error, and by reading tutorials, then perhaps you should hold off on writing tutorials.
