Some more time spent in the workshop. The exhaust has been fabricated to suit the silencer and fitment to the go kart, I need to get a feel for the correct depth of the O2 sensor before I weld in the bung, the exhaust is only 34mm.
The forth bearing support has been a fair amount of work, I also had to wait for bearings etc..
Lastly the interesting part, engine electrics, the Speeduino takes either a VR or hall sensor, both have their advantages, the hall sensor keeps everything in the digital domain, it works at logic 5vdc and sends back a stable 5-0v signal, so this was my preference on this occasion.
Anyway here's the video....

Just thought I'd give an interim update of the kart's progress.
The chassis is all done, the engine internals are all in and the wiring is around 50% done.
I have calibrated the IAT and head temperature probe, the injector has been bench tested for actual cc/min at 3bar
The fuel system is complete with the fuel pump now in the tank.
The ecu is having a couple of alterations, this should be back next week
The power system is all done, I have a choice of 12 or 20volt dewalt batteries, these go through battery protectors then to a 10amp voltage regulator to output a stable 12.3v
